NITDA postpones Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024

*The National Information Technology Development Agency announces postponement of the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024, initially scheduled to hold October 22-24, 2024, in Abuja, due to unforeseen circumstances

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the postponement of the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024, originally scheduled to hold October 22-24, 2024, due to unforeseen circumstances.

NITDA, in a statement issued Thursday, October 10, 2024, disclosed the International Conference Centre, Abuja, FCT, which was the primary venue for the annual event, is currently undergoing extensive renovations, and would not be available for the scheduled dates.

Mrs. Hadiza Umar fnipr, f.apra, mcipr, Director of Corporate Communications and Media Relations Department  at NITDA, stated: “We sincerely regret to inform you that the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024, originally scheduled to be held between 22nd to 24th October 2024, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

“Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure an alternative venue that can adequately accommodate the scale and scope of this important conference for the period scheduled for the Conference.”

The Information Technology (IT) regulatory agency also said: “We understand that this postponement may cause inconvenience, and we apologise for any disruption it may cause to your plans.

“Our team is actively working to find a suitable alternative date and venue for the conference.”

Mrs. Umar noted: “We will provide you with updates on the rescheduled dates and venue as soon as they become available.

“Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”
