Digital Economy: NCC extends applications for Young Innovative Builder initiative

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced an extension of the deadline for applications for its Young Innovative Builder initiative till December 13, 2023.

ConsumerConnect reports the telecoms sector regulatory Commission, in a notice, has invited students in Nigerian tertiary institutions, who have deployed tech-enabled products that leverage digital technology to apply to be on the Young Innovative Builder initiative.

According to NCC, this initiative is part the Commission’s efforts at encouraging undergraduates in tertiary institutions of learning to activate their talents, showcase digital skills, and offer innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in the economy.

The NCC also encouraged any prospective applicants  who might have missed out on applying to join the Young Innovative Builders earlier “to apply/share with your friends and families who meet the criteria.”
