A Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos, recently ordered a group of 48 individuals, led by certain Yakubu Idris, to surrender to the Department of State Services (DSS) Lagos Command within 45 days.

ConsumerConnect reports court’s directive, which is contained in a public notice dated and issued June 4, 2026, mandated that the affected individuals make themselves available for questioning within the timeframe.

The court also said these persons are wanted to clear themselves of alleged fraudulent activities, and the receipt of proceeds of crime.
It was gathered the resulted from the Federal Government’s ongoing investigations regarding widespread alleged financial improprieties, outright theft, and unlawfully acquired funds in the country’s financial system.
