CBN announces appointment of 8 new Directors

*The Central Bank of Nigeria appoints new Directors for various Departments with effect from August 25, 2021

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the appointment of new Directors as the Heads of its various departments.

ConsumerConnect reports the Bankers’ Bank in the making the announcement Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Abuja, FCT, disclosed Mr. Osita Nwanisobi is appointed as the Director of Corporate Communications Department of CBN, with effect from August 25, 2021.

Prior to the appointment of Mr. Nwanisobi, he had performed the role in an acting capacity since October 2020, when his predecessor, Mr. Isaac Okorafor, retired from service.

The Bank also appointed other Directors, including Mrs. Elizabeth Omolara Fasoranti, who is now the Director of Branch Operations; Dr. Abdulkadir Abdullahi Jibril as Director of Medical Services and Mrs. Rashidat Jumoke Monguno, who directs affairs in the Consumer Protection Department (CPD) of the apex bank.

Other appointments include those of Mrs. Amina Habib, who is now the Director, Human Resources Department; Dr. Blaise Ijebor, Director, Risk Management; Mr. Chibuzo Anthony Efobi, Director, Financial Policy and Regulation and Mr. Benjamin Nnadi, who assumes the position of Director, Reserve Management.

All the appointments are with effect from August 25, 2021, said the Bank.
