Mazda recalls 599 Mazda3, CX-30 cars over defective tyre air valve

Mazda North American Operations is recalling 599 model year 2021 Mazda3 and CX-30 vehicles.

ConsumerConnect gathered the air may suddenly leak from the tire air valve, which may cause a loss of vehicle control while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

In regard to what to do, Mazda will notify affected owners, and dealers will replace all four tire air valves with new parts free of charge, agency report stated.

The current recall is expected to begin April 23, 2021.

Meanwhile, owners may contact Mazda Customer Service on (800) 222-5500, Option 4 while Mazda’s number for this recall is 4721B.
