*Members of the National Executive Council of the the Nigeria Democratic Congress are expected to meet May 28-29, 2026, in Abuja, where the general public and stakeholders will be availed of results of the party’s recent primaries

The Nigerian public has been urged to disregard the various results circulating on social media platforms as the outcome of the nationwide primaries conducted by the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) May 28-29, 2026.
Osa Director Esq., National Publicity Secretary of NDC, who said this in a statement, noted the results of the party’s primaries are with the National Executive Council (NEC).
Director stated: “They are solely responsible for announcements of results.”
The statement noted: “On the order of the National Leader of our party, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Seriake Dickson, a NEC meeting of the party has been called.”
The National Publicity Secretary also said: “Therefore, all members of NEC are to arrive at Abuja for a pre-NEC meeting on Tuesday, 2nd of June while the NEC meeting will be held on Wednesday, 3rd of June, 2026.
“The general public and stakeholders will be availed of the results of our primaries when we send the list of candidates to fly our party’s flag to the INEC.”
