Olujuwon Obasanjo, a son of former Nigerian President (Chief) Olusegun Obasanjo, has joined the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as Special Adviser on Political Affairs, pledging support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Obasanjo made the pledge Wednesday, November 4, 2026, during his visit to the Movement\u2019s Headquarters, in Abuja, FCT.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"lwCsitU55z\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5983\">UBA faces legal battle as creditors attach Lagos HQs, FCT branches to recover N7.45bn judgement debt<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"\u201cUBA faces legal battle as creditors attach Lagos HQs, FCT branches to recover N7.45bn judgement debt\u201d \u2014 Consumer Experience Is A Top Priority\" src=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5983&amp;embed=true#?secret=tkp2uD3cqA#?secret=lwCsitU55z\" data-secret=\"lwCsitU55z\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The National Coordinator of the Movement received and took him on a guided tour of the facility to familiarise himself with the organisation\u2019s structure and operations across the West African country.<\/p>\n<p>The former President&#8217;s son described his appointment as an honour and privilege.<\/p>\n<p>He also commended the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for its outreach across communities, and efforts at touching lives and promotion of government activities in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during the visit, younger Obasanjo said he had followed the Movement\u2019s activities for some time, and was impressed by its work.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, he is ready to contribute his quota towards its objectives and the re-election of Tinubu in next year&#8217;s Presidential Election.<\/p>\n<p>President Tinubu, Obasanjo noted, has started on a good note, making it necessary for Nigerians, particularly young people to join hands to sustain the ongoing reforms and ensure continuity in governance.<\/p>\n<p>He equally acknowledged that the country has made progress in several areas, including salary payments, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>He said the gains recorded should be sustained.<\/p>\n<p>Obasanjo further expressed confidence that continued support for President Tinubu would enable his administration to build on its achievements and deliver more for Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>He also disclosed that he has been a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The Movement&#8217;s Special Adviser on Political Affairs explained that his family (the Obasanjos) allows members to hold independent political views, and pursue their political interests without animosity.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, had welcomed Obasanjo to the Movement.<\/p>\n<p>Asuku described him as an experienced political figure with a strong background in leadership and governance.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed optimism that Obasanjo&#8217;s experience and understanding of political mobilisation would strengthen the Movement and advance its activities across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Asuku also said the organisation was pleased to receive the younger Obasanjo, whose decision to join the Movement, he noted, reflected his interest in contributing to Nigeria\u2019s growth and development.<\/p>\n<p>The National Coordinator&nbsp; added that the Movement expected him to bring his knowledge and experience to bear on driving its objectives forward.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Caption&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L-R: Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, National Coordinator of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement (l) and Hon.
