{"id":5296,"date":"2026-10-15T21:12:21","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T21:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5296"},"modified":"2026-10-15T21:39:14","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T21:39:14","slug":"2027-elections-yilwatda-urges-apc-presidential-campaign-council-to-publicise-tinubus-achievements-nationwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5296","title":{"rendered":"2027 Elections: Yilwatda urges APC Presidential Campaign Council to publicise Tinubu&#8217;s achievements nationwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>*<strong><em>Prof.&nbsp; Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, charges members of the party\u2019s Presidential Campaign Council to communicate the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s administration and mobilise Nigerians for his re-election next January <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alexander Davis | ConsumerConnect<\/p>\n<p>Prof.&nbsp; Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has charged members of the party\u2019s Presidential Campaign Council to unite national and grassroots structures, communicate the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s administration and mobilise Nigerians for his re-election 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Yilwatda, who said this while speaking at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, in Abuja, FCT, described the assignment as a collective responsibility.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"hc0iUqmhi3\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5304\">Data Privacy: Smart TVs aren\u2019t spying on consumers &#8212; LG<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"\u201cData Privacy: Smart TVs aren\u2019t spying on consumers \u2014 LG\u201d \u2014 Consumer Experience Is A Top Priority\" src=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=5304&amp;embed=true#?secret=oV62anB8aW#?secret=hc0iUqmhi3\" data-secret=\"hc0iUqmhi3\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He also noted the assignment requires effective coordination, discipline, strategic communication, and sustained engagement with Nigerians ahead of the polls.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Abimbola Tooki, Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media and Information Strategy, evening Wednesday, October 14, 2026, stated Prof. Yilwatda said the party\u2019s campaign must be anchored on the administration\u2019s record, an honest acknowledgement of prevailing challenges and a credible vision for the country\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>The National Chairman said the administration\u2019s economic reforms and investments in roads, power, gas, railways, ports, agriculture and digital connectivity must be clearly communicated to Nigerians, with emphasis on their impact on productivity, employment, commerce and national development.<\/p>\n<p>Yilwatda stated: \u201cOur responsibility is to explain what has been achieved, what is progressing, and what remains to be done.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We must demonstrate how these reforms and investments will translate into practical improvements in the lives of Nigerians.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He further emphasised that the success of the campaign would depend on the effective collaboration of national leaders, governors, legislators, state chapters, local government structures and ward members to ensure that the party\u2019s message reaches every community.<\/p>\n<p>The National Chairman underscored the importance of women, youths, and persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>He urged their meaningful participation and leadership in the campaign process in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Yilwatda also said: \u201cOur women are indispensable to party organisation and community mobilisation.&nbsp; &#8220;Our youths must be engaged as partners in shaping Nigeria\u2019s future, while persons with disabilities must enjoy full, accessible and inclusive participation in our democratic process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He urged party members to approach the assignment with confidence, while warning against complacency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConfidence is not complacency. It is the determination to prepare thoroughly, work together and earn the trust of the people,\u201d Yilwatda said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, APC will seek Nigerians\u2019 support for President Tinubu\u2019s re-election in 2027 by presenting evidence of progress, explaining the administration\u2019s policies and outlining the work that remains to be done.<\/p>\n<p>The National Chairman stressed that the campaign must directly address citizens\u2019 concerns about the cost of living, security, employment, education, healthcare, agricultural productivity and economic opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>He particularly advocated issue-based and peaceful political engagement, recognising the legitimate role of the opposition in a democratic society.<\/p>\n<p>He stated: \u201cThe APC will present its case with confidence, defend its record with facts and trust Nigerians to make their choice through a credible democratic process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Yilwatda reaffirmed the commitment of the APC National Working Committee to working closely with the Presidential Campaign Council, and all party structures to achieve their shared objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Yilwatda, therefore, charged members to remain united and focused, declaring that the party had a vision to communicate a future to build, and the confidence of Nigerians to earn.<\/p>\n<p>The National Chairman of the governing APC added: \u201cOne mission, one responsibility: to work together, communicate effectively and earn the mandate of Nigerians for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>*Prof.&nbsp;
