visibility: hidden;\" title=\"\u201cReforms: Atiku challenges Tinubu over how government transferred N750bn to 10m Nigerians without phones\u201d \u2014 Consumer Experience Is A Top Priority\" src=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/?p=4871&amp;embed=true#?secret=VF8uDh6yph#?secret=Z4yFxJr4ss\" data-secret=\"Z4yFxJr4ss\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>GOCOP, in a statement Friday, October 2, 2026, disclosed the media executive&#8217;s presentation would examine a question that extends beyond the immediate news cycle: How can an African newsroom be designed to create knowledge, preserve institutional memory and remain relevant over the long term?<\/p>\n<p>Drawing on the development of Sundiata Post since its establishment, Amuchie will introduce the Sundiata Post Model (SPM) as an evolving framework for understanding journalism not merely as a daily content operation, but as a knowledge institution capable of integrating reporting, research, conceptual development with scholarly dissemination.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bovasgroup.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4803 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/BOVAS-Company-Limited-Advert-2026-cc.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"345\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/BOVAS-Company-Limited-Advert-2026-cc.png 345w, https:\/\/consumerconnectng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/BOVAS-Company-Limited-Advert-2026-cc-292x300.png 292w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Guild said that his presentation would explore the architecture behind the model, including the relationship between media operations and knowledge operations, the role of research within a newsroom, institutional continuity, archival preservation and the development of original analytical frameworks from journalistic practice.<\/p>\n<p>The statement also noted Amuchie said: \u201cThe central question is no longer simply how much a newsroom publishes or how much traffic it generates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deeper question is what knowledge it creates, what institutional memory it preserves, and whether its work can remain useful long after the news cycle has passed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Sundiata Post Model emerged from Amuchie\u2019s continuing effort at developing a newsroom architecture capable of connecting journalism with research and long-term knowledge production.<\/p>\n<p>Through Sundiata Post Intelligence Unit (SPIU), the organisation has developed and archived original analytical frameworks addressing insecurity, sovereignty and institutional decay, alongside the broader Sundiata Post Model itself.<\/p>\n<p>A central element of the presentation will be the Four Enoughs, an emerging philosophy within the Sundiata Post Model:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desk enough to begin.<\/li>\n<li>Institution enough to sustain.<\/li>\n<li>Archive enough to preserve.<\/li>\n<li>World enough to test.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The &#8220;Four Enoughs&#8221; begin with the proposition \u201cMy Desk Is Enough\u201d\u2014the idea that meaningful knowledge creation can begin with the working desk of a journalist.<\/p>\n<p>But the desk alone cannot guarantee continuity.<\/p>\n<p>The work must become institutional, the institution must preserve its knowledge, and that knowledge must ultimately encounter a world beyond the newsroom in which its ideas can be examined, challenged and tested.<\/p>\n<p>For Amuchie, this represents a shift in how African newsrooms can think about their own futures.<\/p>\n<p>He stated: \u201cThe question is not only what a newsroom publishes today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is also what it leaves behind\u2014what knowledge it creates, what institutional memory it preserves, and whether its intellectual work can remain useful beyond the news cycle and beyond the institution itself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Sundiata Post Model has developed alongside the expansion of Sundiata Post into a broader media\u2013intelligence\u2013knowledge institution, including the establishment of the Sundiata Post Intelligence Unit (SPIU) as a research and analytical division.<\/p>\n<p>Through SPIU, Sundiata Post has developed original analytical frameworks addressing contemporary insecurity, sovereignty and institutional decay, while also placing its research and conceptual work in international scholarly repositories and discovery platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The statement further noted that the presentation at GOCOP 10th Annual Conference, therefore, would examine the possibility of a different kind of African newsroom\u2014one that can function simultaneously as a news organisation, research environment, knowledge archive and platform for conceptual innovation.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Guild, Amuchie will argue that the long-term strength of a newsroom should not be measured exclusively by audience size, publishing volume or immediate commercial performance, but also by its capacity to develop institutional memory, original knowledge and durable intellectual infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The intervention is particularly directed at African publishers operating in an environment of rapid technological change, declining attention spans, fragmented information ecosystems, and increasing pressure on traditional models of media sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Amuchie is CEO and Theorist-in-Chief of Sundiata Post, Lead Researcher at the Sundiata Post Intelligence Unit.<\/p>\n<p>He is also an Expert Member and Peer Reviewer in Behavioural &amp;
