(NITDA) again, has been&nbsp; honoured on the global stage at the prestigious 2026 International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Golden World Awards (GWA), in Athens, Greece.<\/p>\n<p>ConsumerConnect reports NITDA, in collaboration with Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR) and the Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), bagged two Golden World Awards in both the latest recognition actually celebrated the establishment of &#8220;the Crisis Communication Hub (CCHub) \u2014 an innovative national framework, driven by a detailed empirical research study on AI and crisis management\u201d supported by NITDA.<\/p>\n<p>It stated that the winning initiative focuses on:<\/p>\n<p>*Smart AI Governance: Leveraging AI tools for crisis communication and proactive social listening.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;*Fighting Misinformation: Detecting fake news, deepfakes, and digital threats to protect public trust.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;*Coordinated Crisis Response: Uniting stakeholders across the country to handle communication emergencies swiftly and strategically.<\/p>\n<p>Hajiya Hadiza Umar, Director of Corporate Communications and Media Relations at NITDA, represented the agency alongside Prof. Yau Sule of IMPR, formally received the awards during the high-level global gathering held at the iconic Hotel Grande Bretagne, in Athens.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the recognitions,
