continued to attract the attention of the international world.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government has beckoned global leaders, especially in the technology ecosystem, to work with the young, vibrant and versatile youths to advance Broadband connectivity, innovation and digital entrepreneurship otherwise known as technopreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>Technopreneurship has been described as &#8220;the fusion of technology and entrepreneurship to create, launch, and scale innovative tech-driven businesses.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"87kULNxz5Y\"><p><a marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>ConsumerConnect<\/em> reports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said this in his National Statement delivered by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, GCON, at the recent General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembky (UNGA), in New York, United States (US).<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu urged the world to not surrender the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to fear.<\/p>\n<p>The Nigerian leader instead emphasised that AI should be harnessed &#8220;to transform healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and economic productivity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu, in his national statement to world leaders, also stated: &#8220;Nigeria invited global partners to work with its youthful population in technology and innovation, while expanding investments in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), Broadband, research and technology entrepreneurship.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emphasis on capacity building and tech transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aside from advancing digital economy, President Tinubu advocated predictable climate finance, technology transfer, and capacity building.<\/p>\n<p>He, however, said the West African country rejected the &#8220;false choice&#8221; between development and climate action.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu further insisted that developing countries must be allowed to industrialise, reduce poverty, and expand energy access while pursuing lower-carbon growth.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, climate responsibility must be based on equity and shared responsibility rather than charity from developed economies.<\/p>\n<p>Reiterating Nigeria&#8217;s commitment to multilateralism, President Tinubu insisted that diplomacy, cooperation and international law must prevail over coercion, isolation, and the arbitrary use of power by the world&#8217;s superpowers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On national economic reforms and sustainability <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tinubu as well linked Nigeria\u2019s foreign policy to its domestic economic reforms, stressing that sound macroeconomic management, stronger institutions, strategic investment and private-sector development are central to sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<p>The President, therefore, assured the global leaders of Nigeria&#8217;s commitment to &#8220;cooperation over confrontation, dialogue over division and partnership over isolation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu averred that a reformed, inclusive and effective United Nations (UN) &#8220;remains indispensable to global peace, justice and sustainable
