We are a national movement with candidates, structures, and supporters in all 36 states and the FCT.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The party also noted to set the record straight, below are the NDC Governorship Candidates in the 12 states falsely listed in the propaganda:<\/p>\n<p><strong>NDC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATES &#8211; 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Zamfara State: Senator Kabiru Marafa<\/li>\n<li>Borno State: Rtd. Rear Admiral Ibrahim Sanusi Kasim<\/li>\n<li>Cross River State: Hon. John Odey<\/li>\n<li>Akwa Ibom: Babanta Michael Okon<\/li>\n<li>Ebonyi State: Nwofe Boniface<\/li>\n<li>Plateau state: Yakubu Solomon Ndam<\/li>\n<li>Katsina State: Ilu-Barde Aliyu<\/li>\n<li>Kebbi State: Alhaji Umar Usman Besse<\/li>\n<li>Yobe state: Jonga Yahaya Gabakau<\/li>\n<li>Jigawa State: Dutse Aminu Sani<\/li>\n<li>Taraba State: Prof. Yahaya Mohammed Sani<\/li>\n<li>Niger state: Abdu Sidi Bomi<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Call to the media, by NDC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The statement further noted: &#8220;We urge media houses, journalists, bloggers, and content creators to scrutinise their sources and verify information before publishing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Journalism thrives on truth, not rumours.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The National Publicity Secretary said: &#8220;Peddling unverified propaganda only erodes public trust in the media and in our democracy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The NDC remains committed to issue-based politics. We will not be distracted by sponsored falsehoods.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to NDC, &#8220;Nigerians are tired of the old order. They are tired of recycled failures.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Director added: &#8220;The NDC is the preferred party to salvage Nigeria. With credible candidates, a clear manifesto, and a commitment to security, jobs, and accountability, we are ready to rescue and rebuild this nation in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We call on all Nigerians to join the movement.
