defied the rain to stage a peaceful protest against alleged \u2018one-chance\u2019 attacks in the &#8216;Garden City&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the protesters are some victims, who affirmed that they victims, and to demand urgent action to prevent further occurrences, Channels TV report said.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters also carried placards with different descriptions, expressing their displeasure over what they described as a worrying new trend of criminal activities in the South-South state.<\/p>\n<p>They, therefore, called on the authorities to strengthen security on the roads and protect commuters across the state.<\/p>\n<p>It was gathered the protesters further marched from Boro Camp Junction to the Rivers State Government House and the Rivers State Police Command Headquarters<\/p>\n<p>While there, they intended to press their demands for safer roads, better security and an end to \u2018one-chance\u2019 operations in the city.l, according to
