Moses | ConsumerConnect<\/p>\n<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a scheduled preventive maintenance at the Katampe 132\/33kV Transmission Substation.<\/p>\n<p>Ndidi Mbah, General Manager, Public Affairs, at TCN, Friday, July 3, 2026, stated the planned outage in the affected areas within the FCT would begin at the weekend from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<blockquote marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The power company also explained that the scheduled maintenance was to enable TCN\u2019s maintenance crew to carry out preventive maintenance on the 100MVA 132\/33kV Power Transformer (TR1), its auxiliaries, and associated switchgear in the substation.<\/p>\n<p>The TCN further said Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) would be unable to off-take bulk power for distribution to customers in parts of Mpape, Maitama, Jahi, Life Camp, and Kado Power to Fish Market, Idu-Karmo, and their environs during the maintenance period Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>It stated: \u201cTCN regrets any inconvenience this planned outage may cause electricity customers in the affected areas and notes that equipment maintenance is essential to ensure
