Canada receives first consignment of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine

As part of the North American country’s preparation for a national vaccine rollout, the first doses of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in Canada.

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, stated this in a blog note Friday, December 25, 2020.

Trudeau disclosed “these are part of the 168,000 doses we’ll be getting before the end of the month, and part of the 40 million doses we’re guaranteed from Moderna overall.

“This is another big step in our national vaccine rollout. But it doesn’t mean we can let up just yet.”

While urging the citizenry to observe Coronavirus protocols, the Canadian Prime Minister said that “the vaccine won’t help you if you get sick now.

“So, keep wearing your mask, washing your hands, and avoiding gatherings – and download and use
