Access Bank unveils initiative to reward loyal customers

*Access Bank Plc says the ongoing campaign, initiated to appreciate its customers, will splash millions of Naira and mouth-watering freebies on both existing and new consumers of its products and services till December 31, 2023

Access Bank Plc has reeled off an initiative to reward loyal consumers of the bank’s financial products and services.

Njideka Esomeju, Group Head of Consumer Banking, at Access Bank, disclosed this in a statement issued Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Lagos.

The statement said the DiamondXtra campaign would splash millions of Naira and mouth-watering freebies on its existing and new customers.

It is recalled the leading financial institution recently activated the campaign planned to run from October 1 to December 31, 2023, at its Head Office in Lagos.

The bank noted it would be rewarding about 8,400 customers with N135 million in the season 15 of its DiamondXtra Promo.

According to the bank, N6.3 billion has been given out to about 26,000 customers since the promo started 2008.

Access Bank Wednesday stated: “The campaign is aimed at appreciating customers for their patronage, and in line with the Bank’s reward campaign objectives.

“This campaign focuses on expressing gratitude to our valued customers for their patronage, especially as we have seen a significant rise in engagement and the use of exciting features and services on the AccessMore mobile app.”

The statement said: “In the spirit of the season, we are going to reward our lucky active customers with up to N250,000 each in our weekly or monthly jackpot when they perform five transactions or more using the AccessMore app or our USSD code *901#.

“They will also enjoy a zero charge when they pay for electricity and Cable TV bills using the Accessmore app.

“It is even more interesting when our customers book a flight with the app, they will receive a N10,000 cashback.”

The AccessMore app offers a wide range of exciting features that would take care of the customers need, it noted.

The top financial institution further stated: “Just a click on ‘Hire-a-Pro’, customers can hire vetted professionals like accountants, lawyers and artisans like tailor, mechanic to meet their needs.

“If you are looking to eliminate security and counterfeit currency risk, our instant USD to Foreign Exchange conversions have got you covered.

‘Our thrift or ‘Esusu’ option helps you achieve that target savings with friends and family, and we also provide numerous lifestyle features for your convenience and enjoyment.”

Promo to appreciate customer loyalty and support –Official

The statement as well  quoted Mrs. Adaeze Umeh, Unit Head of Consumer Banking of the bank, as saying “the ember months are here, and the season provides us with another opportunity to appreciate our customers for their loyalty and support for the bank.”

Mrs. Umeh also stated: “We value our customers and non-customers who depend on our services to carry out seamless banking activities, and we wish them the very best of the season.

“Just fund and transact on your account and stand a chance to be rewarded.”

Access Bank’s promos transparent, fair: FCCPC

Speaking at the launch of the ongoing promo, Susie Onwuka, Head of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) in Lagos State, applauded Access Bank Plc for sustaining its promo for 15 years.

According to the market regulatory Commission, the process has been transparent and fair.

Onwuka noted: “The process has been transparent, fair and we have never had any complaint from anybody that won something of not receiving the prize in any of the seasons.

“We want everybody to feel free and participate in it.”

The Commission said: “At a time like this, we must commend the bank for putting a smile on their customers’ faces.

“It is not easy, but that the bank is recognising their customers is a great thing.”
